Motorists face delays after multi-vehicle collision on M5

Site visitors was affected on the M5 within the West Midlands after the incident on the southbound carriageway between Junction 3 (Halesowen) and Junction 4 (Bromsgrove).

At its peak, visitors was diverted off the motorway and across the incident by way of the exit and entry slip roads. 

West Mercia Police confirmed that no arrests had been made in reference to the collision.

A spokesman for Nationwide Highways stated: “All lanes on the M5 southbound have now been reopened between J3 and J4 following the sooner collision.

“There are residual delays on the method.”

Emergency providers together with police and paramedics attended the scene.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was contacted for remark.
