West Midlands Police mentioned they had been known as to stories of a single car collision on Mackadown Lane on the junction of St Giles Street in Birmingham at round 5.55am at present (Monday, June 22).

The motorcyclist, a person in his 60s, was discovered severely injured and later died in hospital.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police mentioned: “We’re interesting for info after a person sadly died in a collision in Tile Cross, Birmingham.

“His household has been knowledgeable and are being supported at this troublesome time.

“Enquiries are underway to ascertain the precise circumstances of the collision. The highway has since re-opened.

“Investigators ask that anybody who was within the space on the time and has dashcam footage or info, contact the Severe Collision Investigation Unit on electronic mail at SCIU@westmidlands.police.uk
