Firefighters battle blaze close to Miller & Carter restaurant in Studley

The incident came about on Saturday (June 20) at Washford Mills Cottages on Icknield Road Drive in Studley, behind the Miller & Carter restaurant.

Warwickshire Fireplace and Rescue Service have been alerted to experiences of a hearth at 3:26pm.

A Warwickshire Fireplace and Rescue Service mentioned: “On arrival, crews discovered a fireplace involving derelict buildings containing automobile components, autos and a heavy items car, measuring roughly 15 by 30 metres.

“Firefighters used hose reel jets provided from a hydrant and labored in an offensive firefighting mode to deal with the blaze. The actions of crews ensured the hearth was contained and prevented it from spreading additional. 

“Crews have been on the scene for about one and a half hours, with the incident introduced beneath management shortly earlier than 5pm.”

The incident was additionally attended by West Mercia Police.
