Redditch will maintain a ceremony to mark Armed Forces Day on Monday, June 22, on the City Corridor, the place the Armed Forces Day flag can be raised in a present of help for navy communities throughout the UK and the borough.
Councillor Susan Eacock, Mayor of Redditch, mentioned: “As we increase the Armed Forces Day flag, we not solely honour those that have served, but in addition reaffirm our ongoing help for the women and men who proceed to guard our nation.”
Cllr Eacock can be joined on the ceremony by members of the 37 Sign Regiment, The Royal British Legion, and the chief of Redditch Borough Council.
The occasion will start at 10am, and the flag will stay in place for every week.
Armed Forces Day itself falls on Saturday, June 27, marking the 18th annual observance of the occasion.
