Temperatures in Worcester are set to achieve 30 levels within the coming days, and firefighters have suggested the general public to maintain secure throughout the sizzling climate.
A Hereford and Worcester Hearth and Rescue Service spokesperson stated: “Yellow Warmth Alert till June 23.
“Security reminder as sizzling climate brings extra call-outs for water incidents, incidents from disposable BBQs and out-of-control bonfires and in some cases wildfires/subject fires.
“Assist us defend our group and keep secure whereas having fun with the stunning climate over the subsequent week.”
Keep secure:
- Use BBQs solely in open, clear areas – by no means on grass or close to dry vegetation
- Maintain bonfires nicely away from buildings and timber – if attainable don’t mild one in any respect
- Don’t swim or leap into unknown water, no matter swimming capability chilly water shock can impact anybody
