Malvern Recycling Centre closed after van emitting smoke

The incident at Malvern Recycling Centre this morning (Monday) led Worcestershire County Council to shut the location as a precaution. 

A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council mentioned: “We will verify {that a} buyer arrived on website this morning in a van that started emitting smoke.

“As a precautionary measure, the location gates had been closed for a most of 5 minutes whereas the car was safely escorted off the premises.

“Regular operations resumed instantly thereafter, and companies have continued as common.”

Malvern Recycling Centre is now again open.
